You know them.  The neighbors with the "cool" jobs that really make a difference in the community or even society.

One of your neighbors is just such a person: Karen England.  Karen is the Executive Director of the Capitol Resource Institute (CRI), the oldest and largest pro-family public policy education and advocacy organization in California.

She has been a passionate defender of family values for more than eleven years, having begun as a volunteer after becoming enraged by policies that lacked common sense and were harmful to families and traditional values.  Since then, she has become the architect behind "Day at the Capitol", a program designed to train and equip ordinary citizens to take an active role in the legislative process, as well as directing and coordinating the "City on the Hill  Youth Leadership Conference" (COTH), which is a hands-on approach for youths to learn the legislative process.

Karen has appeared on Fox News, the Laura Ingram Show, World Net Daily, and others, as well as in numerous print media articles throughout California and Neveda.

Karen speaks at both public and private schools, conducting mini-seminars on public involvement and can be reached at kengland@capitolresources.org

Karen is happily married to John England, and besides raising a family (4 kids) and making a difference in all their lives and ours, still finds time to enjoy a country western concert or a nice quiet meal in a restaurant (her favorite date).

Karen and John chose our neighborhood because it fit exactly into what they were looking for ... a somewhat old fashioned feel to homes where kids play safely and the neighbors are friendly; homes are well maintained and the values reflect their own ... and they even have big back yards.
